View Comments Hedwig and the Angry Inch Show Closed This production ended its run on Sept. 13, 2015 The Tony-winning musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch is a tribute to fierce rock icons, and it’s especially fun when one of the legends namechecked in the show stops by to see it! Singer Nona Hendryx, one-third of the trio Labelle (“Lady Marmalade,” anyone?) took a trip to the Belasco Theatre to catch Taye Diggs and Rebecca Naomi Jones in the hit rock musical. Hmm, we wonder if she lifted up her hands during the line: “Here’s to Patti and Tina and Yoko, Aretha and Nona and Nico and me,” in the song “Midnight Radio.” Check out this hot shot of the stars backstage, then see Hedwig on Broadway!
