Sergio Aguero signs one-year contract extension with Manchester City

first_imgManchester City striker Sergio Aguero has signed a one-year contract extension and that will keep him at the Etihad Stadium until 2021, the club confirmed on Friday.Since joining City from Atletico Madrid in 2011, Aguero has won three Premier League and League Cup titles with the club.Aguero is also City’s all-time leading scorer with 204 goals and it was his famous stoppage-time goal against Queens Park Rangers in 2012 that won City their first top division title in 44 years.”I am happy for this additional year,” Aguero, who has scored three league goals in five games this season, told the club website www.mancity.com”My idea was being here for 10 years. I’ve been here for seven years, it’s going to be 10 when the contract expires.”Hopefully, that’s going to happen.
