British Embassy to provide anti-terrorism training in Boracay

first_imgMALAY, Aklan – The British Embassy inManila will provide trainings on paramedics and anti-terrorism to the BoracayFire, Rescue and Volunteers Incorporated (BFRAV) here. Security teams conducted a simulated kidnapping raid on Boracay Island, Malay, Aklan. BORACAY TOURIST ASSISTANCE CENTRE BFRAV officer Rod Bachiilier said theBritish Trauma Training Team has discussed the training proposal with them onMonday.    “The details of the training have yetto be finalized with our head Leonard Tirol. It is expected to last untilFebruary next year,” Bachiilier added. “Trainings on trauma care were alsodiscussed,” he said. Different government agencies willalso join the said activity including the Philippine Task Force and Joint TaskForce Boracay, among others. The BFRAV is a private volunteer andhumanitarian group in the world-famous Boracay Island./PNlast_img
