Man Vomits to Death at ELWA Junction

first_imgThe man was covered with a white cloth and left on the side of the roadAn unidentified man on Sunday afternoon vomited blood while sitting at a nearby corner at the ELWA Junction. The Daily Observer later learned that the man died as a result.Eyewitnesses said the man seemed to have some trouble making a phone call when suddenly, they saw blood oozing out of his mouth. The scene drew the attention of people who gathered nearby watching the man violently cough up blood repeatedly.“I just saw him sitting there trying to make a phone call on his mobile phone,” an eyewitness said. “Then the next minute, he was throwing up blood like water coming out from a tap.”After considerable minutes throwing out blood, the man relaxed and there was fear that he was dead, though there was no official confirmation of his death.However, there was a Liberia National Police (LNP) ambulance that came on the scene, but there was no paramedic to attend to the victim. The LNP ambulance, with two persons in it, which included the driver, was parked close by.It was reported later that the victim’s family was on the way to assist the police with their investigations into the man’s death.Many eyewitnesses said the man’s condition could be tuberculosis.
