Business news network CNBC announced that it will partner with Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James to create a new reality series focusing on burgeoning entrepreneurial opportunities in Cleveland. James will serve as producer on the series, which is set to debut this summer.“Cleveland Hustles speaks to the network’s entrepreneurial spirit and also creates an opportunity to help strengthen communities that have fallen on hard times,” said Jim Ackerman, EVP, Primetime Alternative, CNBC.The announcement comes during a low point in James’ relationship with his beloved Cleveland, after the news that there would be no indictment of Officer Timothy Loehmann in the shooting death of 12-year-old Tamir Rice. The boy was playing in the park with a toy gun when Loehmann and his partner, Frank Garmback, arrived on scene and shot Rice within seconds. The event sent shock waves through the Twittersphere and sparked a #NoJusticeNoLeBron campaign to ask the superstar to sit out until there was an indictment.James admitted he did not know enough about the case to speak on the subject.Regarding the new show, CNBC says:NBA superstar LeBron James and his longtime friend and business partner Maverick Carter will give four aspiring local entrepreneurs the chance to realize their own dreams while also helping to revitalize a neighborhood in Cleveland. LeBron and Maverick will enlist the aid of four trusted business experts and associates, who will in turn invest in and mentor fledgling entrepreneurs who need a little jumpstart. In success, these four businesses will provide jobs and services for neighborhoods that desperately need investment.Cleveland Hustles continues his charity and commitment to the community he loves, even though he dropped the ball on the Tamir Rice issue.

Facebook Twitter Google+LinkedInPinterestWhatsApp Facebook Twitter Google+LinkedInPinterestWhatsApp#Bahamas, September 21, 2017 – Nassau – Climate Change is now one of the most fundamental development challenges facing countries of the African, Caribbean and the Pacific (ACP) grouping, Prime Minister, Dr. the Hon. Hubert A. Minnis said Wednesday.Addressing the Opening Session of the 5th Meeting of ACP (Africa, Caribbean and Pacific) Ministers In Charge of Fisheries and Aquaculture at Melia Nassau Beach resort, Prime Minister Minnis said various climate models suggest damage from natural disasters have increased sharply and that: “such damage is likely to worsen, especially from flooding.”“The National Wildlife Federation in the United States notes that the latest science connecting hurricanes and global warming suggests more is yet to come,” Prime Minister Minnis said.“Tropical Storms are likely to bring higher wind speeds, more precipitation and bigger storm surge in the coming decades.”Prime Minister Minnis observed Climate Change also poses risks for sustainable development and tourism, in addition to sustainable fisheries.“In meeting these risks, we must rise to the challenge with new ideas for fisheries and aquaculture.“Public and private sector investments are required if the aquaculture sector is to develop in a viable manner in the Caribbean. The Caribbean Community must do its part to boost aquaculture and sustainable fisheries throughout our region,” Prime Minister Minnis added. The Prime Minister announced that the Government of The Bahamas will promote investments in aquaculture, mariculture and modern sea farming strategies. It will undertake a study of the country’s marine resources with a view to creating opportunities for the artificial propagation and enhancement of local fish stocks, addressing growing demands for fish and aquaculture products regionally and globally, and the ‘steep rise’ in importation of fish and fisheries products over the last decade.Prime Minister Minnis said there is no denying the impact Climate Change is having on the 2017 Atlantic Hurricane Season. There have already been 13 named storms just three-and-one-half months into the season, with two-and-one-half months left to go. (The Hurricane Season lasts June 1 through November 30.)Already, there have been three Super-Storm Hurricanes (Harvey, Irma, Maria) that have left an estimated hundreds of billions of dollars worth of devastation and destruction across the region and parts of the United States of America.Maria, the latest of the three Super Storms, has wreaked major havoc in Dominica and Puerto Rico.“Like typhoons and monsoons (in Asia), these Super Storms leave many communities and countries in the Caribbean particularly vulnerable,” Prime Minister Minnis said.“This includes Small-Island Developing States (SIDS) and low-lying areas such as The Bahamas and a number of small-island Pacific States here today. Climate Change is now one of the most fundamental development challenges for countries in Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific,” Prime Minister Minnis remarked.By: Matt MauraPhotos/Yontalay Bowe, OPM Media Services 6983Group Photo at Melia on Wednesday. 6849Prime Minister Minnis (second left) and Bahamas Minister of Agriculture and Marine Resources Renward Wells (third left) chat with a delegate of the 5th Meeting of ACP Ministers in charge of Fisheries and Aquaculture, September 20, at Melia Nassau Beach resort. Former England footballer Danny Mills says Manchester United lack the capacity to drop underperforming players unlike their rivals who do so effortlessly.Mills told The Debate in an interview obtained by Skysports that Mourinho was not blessed with the same strength in depth as some of United’s rivals, meaning he could not keep his players on their toes to achieve results. He said: “Where he has had a problem with some players is that Guardiola can drop anyone, and bring someone else in. You can’t complain about it because he has the quality to bring in, that squad is exceptional”“Mourinho doesn’t really have that depth in his squad. It’s difficult when he drops a big player, does he have the quality to replace them? No he doesn’t, in all honesty.”“It’s a bare squad in some ways. Look at Lukaku, he’s not performing and hasn’t scored at Old Trafford in a long time. But who does he bring in? He can’t. At Manchester City you’ve got players who can step in, and at Liverpool too.”“There’s competition for places. Do Manchester United have that? I’m not sure they do.”Maguire says United need to build on today’s win George Patchias – September 14, 2019 Harry Maguire wants his United teammates to build on the victory over Leicester City.During the summer, Harry Maguire was referred to as the ultimate…On the plan to buy new players, Mills said:“Jose is used to winning, he’s used to top players and he’s used to consistency. It might be a bit dour, the way he plays, but he knows what he wants.”“He wants seven or eight out of 10 every single week. He doesn’t want Jesse Lingard being brilliant one week and terrible the next, he doesn’t want Marcus Rashford doing the same, he wants a solid platform.”“Jose has never been one to really improve players or bring them through as Pep, Klopp and Pochettino have done.”“Mourinho wins trophies, but he does it with a team he can bring in of exceptional players he can mould together, and he hasn’t really been allowed to do that.”
